The over-power protection will be activated when the power supply reaches 70 Watts, while the over-current protection will start working when the current reaches 6 Amps. Furthermore, when the temperature of the chipset exceeds 110 degrees Celsius (as per the UL standard), the adapter will automatically shut down and resume operation once it has cooled down.
